New reproduction of a rare 1952 ‘Doris Day’ paper doll book

A touch of nostalgia here with this adorable collector’s item based on the original 1952 production from the Whitman Company.

What a big surprise to find this retro item resurfacing so long after the original book had vanished into the passages of time. Thanks to the Paper Studio Press based in Maine we are now able to purchase a Paper Doll set that was first printed in 1952 in a pocket folder format.

The 2007 edition offers a faithful reproduction however it now comes in a book format but other than a few minor alterations this pretty item retains all its delightful 1950s fashions and the two dolls. The booklet also features full colour illustrations and has an up to date biography on Doris Day on the inside back cover from the acclaimed fashion forecaster David Wolfe. It book is a total of 16 pages plus the cover and measures around 10″ x 13″.
