Doris Day’s Animal Foundation gives grant to Society of Singers

June 8, 2010 No Comments

We previously reported how the Society of Singers had this year given their prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award‘ to Doris Day.

The singer in response to this wonderful honour decided to do a little something in return by setting up a new grant to help any members of the organisation that needed a little help caring for their four-legged friends.

Below is a copy of Doris Day’s letter of thanks which the society published in their brochure for the 2010 awards ceremony.
