This album is Doris Day's most successful compilation. It may be concise and to the point but achieved record sales of over 500,000 copies in the US alone.

Nowadays, it may not fair well against more extensive CD compendiums but at the time it was the first worldwide release to compile Doris's hit singles. In 1962, Columbia Records released a stereo edition of this LP.

This album has been re-issued on CD in the USA, Japan and Europe.

Conductor: Various
  • Columbia Records (USA)
  • 12" Mono LP (#CL-1210) / 12" Stereo LP (#CS-8635)
  • Achieved RIAA Gold Certification on 17 May 1968
