This promotional LP
contains song material that
originated from sessions
made between the 12 May 1958 (the day when Doris recorded her single
"Everybody
Loves A Lover") and 27 November 1959. It was issued to promote
Doris's romantic-comedy
Pillow Talk which was her first film with co-star Rock
Hudson. There are four
songs included from this picture alongside other infectious ditties
like "Anyway the
Wind Blows", "Tunnel of Love" and the fan-favourite
"I Enjoy Being a Girl".
Exlusive to this release: Oh what and
no.
All in all
this successful LP offers a feisty mix of pop and fifties rock 'n' roll. A
"double-vocal" effect of tracks 3 and 6 also appear
exclusively on the mono edition of this LP
(DD1). |
