The author and Doris Day guru Pierre Patrick talks about his new book “Que Sera Sera”

January 23, 2007 No Comments

Pierre Patrick (Patry) has worked in the recording industry for many years, on several TV shows, as well as many Doris Day on-stage tributes, CD and DVD releases. He currently produces for Connecticut Family Theatre. His book “Que Sera Sera – The Magic of Doris Day Through Television” is in all good book stores now.

Pierre talks about his new book:

Well, I never planned on writing a book, but people were telling me for years I had a book about Doris Day in me I love her, her films, her music, and her great work on television. One day I purchased a book on Agnes Moorehead, I liked the way it was done. I called Garry McGee who I talk to on the phone many times. He gave me great advice and I asked him to write the book with me he said “yes!”. We submitted my 17-page article from ‘Television Chronicles’ and Bear Manor Media in one day said “yes”…

The Focus of the book is “The Doris Day Show” and how it connects her entire career, we cover all her films and albums in a very interesting way. Doris Day herself was very important with this book, first getting her approval and then doing a surprise new interview conducted in December 2005 which closes the book. I know there’s a lot of books on Doris coming out soon… I think fans will like this book because of my own experience meeting her as a fan. The Book proves all in all that Doris Day is the #1 Star…
