Calamity Jane voted by BBC Radio 2 listeners as the ‘Greatest Hollywood Musical of All-time’

New British radio poll places Doris Day’s movie ‘Calamity Jane’ at #1.

BBC Radio 2′s disc-jockey Russell Davies has just conducted a poll on his Sunday show to discover which of the great Hollywood musical-movies was your all-time favourite.

It was Doris Day & Howard Keel’s film ‘Calamity Jane’ that rode on into the top spot beating off close competition from other favourites like ‘Singin’ in the Rain’, ‘High Society’, ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’, ‘Meet Me in St Louis’ and ‘Top Hat’.
