British ‘REGION 2′ DVD debut in March 2011 of Doris Day’s fast-paced comedy romp “Move Over Darling”
January 17, 2011 1 CommentDoris Day’ s wonderful romantic comedy classic “Move Over, Darling” is to soon receive a British DVD release in REGION 2 format. Although hugely requested it has so far only been released on DVD in North America and on limited release across Germany (repackaged as “Eine zuviel im Bett”).
Nominated for a Golden Globe, “Move Over, Darling” makes its British DVD debut on 21 March 2011 courtesy of Second Sight Films. We have been reliably informed that this release will be the same remastered version as the USA in the original ratio 2.35:1.

“Five years after his wife Ellen (Doris Day) disappears in a plane crash, lawyer Nick Arden (James Garner) declares her legally dead. He embarks on a new life by marrying wife number two Bianca and the newlyweds set off on honeymoon. On the same day Ellen, having been rescued from a desert island by the Navy, arrives back home to be told the news. She immediately heads for the happy couple’s resort where things are about to get complicated.”
