NEW Barbie & Ken “Doris & Rock” Giftset boxed and ready to go on sale across the USA!
June 3, 2011 6 CommentsThe King and Queen of the Doll World are tipping their hats to two of Hollywood’s biggest and best loved on-screen couples aka Screen Goddess Doris Day and Handsome Hunk Rock Hudson. Since the set made its debut at the New York Toy Fair in Feb. 2011 both dolls have noticeably undergone a bit of “plastic” surgery so look more reminiscent of their real life idols.
Below is a snap shot of what the boxed and ready to go set will actually look like. We have to say we think Mattel have done a nice job and are clearly out to impress!
Don’t forget the gift set will be released in July 2011 and it should be available from all good toy stores across the USA. The retail price will be just under $70-80USD. We have also created a special page devoted to the doll set which will later include our VIDEO REVIEW of it.

What a wonderful tribute to two beautiful people who, by their movies, could make you forget your troubles for a couple of hours while watching them on the silver screen.
