Doris Day’s album ‘My Heart’ continues its chart success with a fourth week inside the UK ‘Top 40′ album chart (now at #33).

Sony Music UK have just announced that after the popularity of the lead radio single ‘Heaven Tonight’  they will release a 2nd tune to UK radio. Their next pick is the album’s title song which they hope will generate renewed support for the album.

We have just learnt that ‘My Heart’ is officially Doris Day’s first ever album to chart in Germany (the world’s 2nd largest music market). Her new release peaked at #45 during the week of September 5-11, 2011 and has spent 3 weeks inside the German ‘Top 75′ album chart.

If you are enjoying Doris Day’s music you may also like to try “25 Movie Greats” which this site’s webmaster compiled for Sony Music. It’s available from amazon.co.uk and amazon.com featuring 25 digitally remastered classics from the vaults at Columbia.
