Back by popular demand is “QUE SERA! Celebrating Doris Day” featuring Kristi King

November 8, 2011 4 Comments

One lady who has been doing her bit to keep the magic of Doris Day in our hearts is singer Kristi King from Portland, Oregon.

This year, Ms. King has been delighting American audiences with her 80-minute Doris Day tribute show where she adorns platinum wigs and gorgeous gowns all to bring the iconic singing star to life, relating her life stories and singing her greatest hits, including “Que Sera, Sera”; “It’s Magic”; “Everybody Loves a Lover”; “A Guy Is a Guy”; “Secret Love”; “Pillow Talk”; “Teacher’s Pet”; “Perhaps, Perhpas, Perhaps” and more. Best of all a portion of ticket proceeds from her show are donated to the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

King has made a living as a singer for over three decades, performing mainly in Southern California, Hawaii, and Las Vegas. She has also appeared on various TV shows alongside Regis Philbin, the Righteous Brothers and as an opening act for the legendary comedienne Joan Rivers.

“…Magnificent!”
“You can really sense and feel Doris… Kristi has her down.”
“…captured the restrained sex appeal of Doris Day’s delivery.”

King will return by popular demand to Bake’s Place (a premier Jazz and Blues supper club) at 4135 providence point SE, Issaquah (WA) on the 4 December 2011. For more information visit www.bakesplace.org or call for reservations 425.391.3335.
