DEJA VU? The title may well be the same as the other upcoming DVD set from Universal Studios but that is where the similarities end…

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE), in partnership with Turner Classic Movies (TCM) are joining in the celebrations to mark Doris Day’s 91st birthday with their ‘ESSENTIAL COLLECTION‘ – out on April 7th 2015. It’s a mighty 15 movie set packing a powerful punch of Doris’ BEST musical movies from the 1940s -1960s – there are 13 musicals in total including a whole lot of DORIS’ GREATEST HITS! – plus the set contains two firm family favourites ‘Please Don’t Eat The Daisies’ and ‘The Glass Bottom Boat’. All of the set’s films have been previously available on DVD but for $80US it’s a super way for any Newbie fans to explore with gusto DD’s extensive film career!

We understand that TCM will support the home entertainment release of this new set with dedicated on-air programming.
