This musical extravaganza was originally broadcast on the
CBS-TV network (USA) in March 1971. This special is
significant as it features rare full-length
performances of some of Doris's biggest singles as
well as other pop songs. It also includes a timeless collaboration with the legendary
crooner Perry Como and guest appearance by Rock Hudson.
"...This above-average
colourful show features some funky fashions, expansive sets and a song
("You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby") with some of Doris’ dogs
plus a brief fun walk-on by Rock Hudson. Thanks to the natural Day
ability to be herself, the Show succeeds brilliantly with extended bonus
never-before-outtakes and deleted scenes adding kudos to her persona..."
