Candy Williams is a performer in a third rate musical revue called 'Parisian Pretties', headed by wisecracking joker Hap Schneider. Fallen on hard times and stranded in Miami Beach, the members are forced to work in a hotel. Then, when a handsome producer (Dick Carson) arrives to put on a show the troupe believe this is their lucky break.

Although Doris was said to have been dismayed by this film's script she convincingly pulls off this 'fluff' musical.

Songs featured are The Superstition Song, Men Men, High Hopes, I Wanna Sing Like An Angel, I Speak To The Stars, The Bluebells Of Broadway and the title song.
