Gannon, a tough, city editor first ridicules then falls in love with Erica Stone, a college professor whom he is reluctantly ordered to help. 

Notably, Gig Young also won acclaim with an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Role. The movie also features the catchy title theme song.
