This is basically a remake of the 1938 mega-hit Four Daughters. The timeless love story is revitalised with some of Hollywood's finest, mixed with a sprinkling of romantic melodies by Gershwin, Porter and Mercer.

Alex Burke, a famous Broadway composer, surprises all when he proposes to a small-town girl Laurie Tuttle. To everyone's surprise she chooses instead to elope with her fiancé's best friend, Barney Sloan.

Songs featured are Frank's moving renditions of Someone to Watch Over Me, One for My Baby & Just One of Those Things, Doris's There's a Rising Moon and Hold Me in Your Arms plus their duet You, My Love which both artists recorded commercially as solo records for their respective labels.
